Symphony No 4: A Blackbird in Quorn This will be the premier public hearing of the soundtrack of the 4th symphony, which is based on the phrases from the repertoire of one particular Blackbird. The same bird has been performing in the vicinity for at least 8 years. The soundtrack has been engineered using the Garritan recorded sounds of real instruments, including a Stradivarius solo violin. There are four movements, between which the composer will answer questions and give illustrated examples of the creative process. Entrance will be free, though we invite donations to the Quorn Old School Development project. You are encouraged to bring your own food and refreshments.
