 In the cold mist of a winter morning, a lone motorist picks his way through the bat - infested gloom of Barr Beacon. On each side the bare skeletons of trees threaten, the only sound the cries of owls and foxes and a coughing engine that threatens to leave him stranded amongst unknown horrors. A shape flashes in front of the car, he slams on the brakes and skids uncontrollably to a stop, heart pounding and in a cold sweat. What was it? The legend continues.......
