This work is scored for standard symphony orchestra with a fair amount of percussion. Its length (ca. 7 - 8 mins.) and style give it the 'feel' of an overture and it would be suited to starting a programme. It was shortlisted in the top 25 entries for the orchestral category of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra s Composers Day 2017, with Mark - Anthony Turnage who 'Highly Commended' the work.
