The cycle of four songs sets words by George Herbert, Robert Herrick, Thomas Campion and Wilfred Owen. The four songs are;

1. The Call 2. Grace for a Child 3. De Profundis 4. Song of Songs

The poems are bound by the Easter theme of the Eucharist.

The cycle has been recorded to the 'Spirit Songs' CD by soprano Louise Wayman and piano accompanist Sarah Gard. It has been performed in Bristol and Stroud by sopranos Sarah Leonard and Charlotte Newstead.
