[Interlude is the first of two pieces, the second is Solemn Procession, with easy pedal parts and intended for organists who have transferred from piano and have good keyboard skills but are not confident with pedal playing.]

Interlude is a quiet piece in ternary form and consists of an accompanied melody. A contrasting tone is used for the middle section.
