Other Information

Erica asked me to compose a piano piece relating to her nocturnal river Soar paintings and Rothko's 'black' landscapes, starting from the final chord in Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I was also thinking of Messiaen's Vingt Regards.

A bit of boogie crept into it, before finally revealing a pivotal moment in the Moonlight Sonata.
